However, the importance of the POWs was marginalized after the war. They did not receive the corresponding attention even in published memoirs and recollections of resistance veterans. The author uses quantitative methods to establish whether the above phenomenon was due only to intentional marginalization or whether the \u201cdisplacement\u201d might be caused by other reasons as well.
